What is curling?

Curling is a sport with royal ancestry and is played with the object of placing your stones closer to the middle of the drawn circle, than your opponent’s and so score points.
To play curling you need a broom and a couple of wooden soles to wear under a pair of clean trainers. You can borrow all equipment needed (sliding soles, stones, brooms and helmets) at the ice rink. Don’t forget to dress warm.

The entrance to the curling lanes is next to the entrance for ice skating (at the Coop Forum end of the hall). The lanes are 30 m long and 4 m wide. There are three lanes in total which means we can welcome groups of up to 30 people at a time, since between 6 and 10 people can use each lane. Recommended number of players per lane is 8.

There are tables available if you bring a picnic.

Toilets are located at the entrance hall towards the large parking space.

Costs

Lane per hour: 400.00 SEK

3 Lanes per hour: 1,000.00 SEK
