By getting a library card here you will have free access to our books. As a public library we have got some mandatory literature that are used at different courses, but naturally not everything. If you need a book that we don’t have at our library, you have the possibility to order it from another library as interlibrary loan. Ordering a book from another library costs 5 SEK and it normally takes a week to receive the book. You can make your order from the information desk at the library or from the
"Interlibrary loan request" form in the library catalogue on the web page of the library.
If you are a student in any university in Sweden, you can always get help from the library at your university. Contact your library and ask for special service for distance students. The University of Kristianstad has placed mandatory literature for each course that is given at Norra Station at the library in Kulturhuset Hässleholm. We have both reference material and books for loan on the first floor of the library. You find the books in our catalogue.
