Information from different sources

  • Information retrieval: When the library is open there is always a librarian in the information desk who can answer your questions. Every afternoon there is a special student librarian in the information desk on the first floor to guide students in their information retrieval, searching in databases, interlibrary loans etc.

  • Databases: You have access to the databases available at our library. If you are a student of any university in Sweden you will also have full access to the electronic periodicals and the full text databases at your university library by logging in with your personal password to the proxy server at the university home page

  • Book a student librarian: If you need help using the library catalogue or using information resources you can book a student librarian for a free individual 60 minute session of guided information seeking. Ask for this service from student librarian Helena Götesdotteror book it from this form.

  • Search workshops: During terms we offer you search workshops on Mondays between 14 and 16 pm without signing up. Then there is also a student librarian from the library at Kristianstad University ready to offer you his special skills.

  • Librarian on duty Ask the library on-line, a reference service where you can send your question by e-mail to the librarian on duty. There is also service in other languages.

  • Internet portals and other internet resources in English that can be useful for you and your studies.
